Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ is back to his usual Twitter antics 72 hours after wiping his page clean following a publicized dispute with West Coast rapper Lil B.

Upon his return, Joey did not apologize for taking a temporary hiatus and denied he hit the delete button due to pressure from the Based God.

“all my real n*ggas know i aint delete my twitter over no dumb sh*t,” Joey tweeted February 3rd.

“this twitter sh*t gets addictive.. thats y i deleted it.. enjoyed my time off but now I’m back” (Joey Bada$$’s Twitter)

Heading into the weekend, the Brooklyn emcee’s page vanished.

The war on wax and Twitter between Lil B and Joey Bada$$ has gotten pretty intense in the aftermath of their diss tracks. Last night, Joey vented his frustrations about Lil B’s army of fans–known as his “Task Force”–harassing him, tweeting, “I just wanna snuff somebody and delete my twitter. Yall taskforce n*ggas is p*ssy. G*y a** computer nerds. Come to my face with that taskforce sh*t ill punch u in ya throat.” Following those tweets, Joey deleted his account. (Complex)

A day prior, Joey credited himself for bringing down Lil B with his “Don’t Quit Ya Day Job” diss track.

Like fans, Joey didn’t exactly understand the timing of Lil B’s release, but that’s beside the point. “Who knows?” he responded when asked about the BasedGod’s motives here. “But if somebody sends a jab at me, I’ll just send one twice as hard. I really didn’t have to respond, I don’t feel so, but I just did it. I don’t know why. … [Actually] it’s too easy, that’s what it is. It’s too easy, so I thought, ‘Why not?’ I’m just flexing my skill on him.” If Lil B chooses to respond, is there any chance Joey will take the time to record another dis track? “No, no, no,” he responded, adding confidently, “I killed him. He shouldn’t even attempt to do anything again.” (MTV)

The record followed Lil B’s “I’m The Bada$$” beef track released days earlier.

“These n*ggas think they’re bad a**es now, huh? [laughs] … Can’t f*ck with me, these n*ggas know my history / I can make your life into a motherf*ckin’ mystery / N*ggas wonder why they don’t make it when they against me / 40 gonna come like my son walking 6th Street / Shouts out to them b*tch n*ggas, saying that they miss me / I’m trying to see checks like a test in history / But I’m not a h*e (Never) / Know the code (Feel me?) / I’ma take control, I will never fold/ Put me in the jungle with those lions and those wolves/ I’ma get by and survive like I should…” (“I’m The Bada$$”)
