Joe Budden Schools Nicki Minaj: "She's Stupid 'Cause She Likes Stupid N*ggas 'Cause Meek Is Stupid" [Audio]

Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden recently addressed a past shot fired his way from Young Money’s Nicki Minaj this week.

In a new audio clip, Budden questions Nicki’s awareness to the growing popularity of podcasts and clowned her for dating rapper Meek Mill.

“I know she’s stupid ’cause she likes stupid n*ggas ’cause Meek is stupid. What? I’m just giving you my interpretation. I don’t hear and see sh*t like the rest of y’all. I don’t. So her saying ‘Have fun with your little podcast,’ while every major mind in the country is doing a podcast? It speaks to your level of awareness. … The older I get, I just have a problem with stupid people. … Because I like your music, b*tch, doesn’t mean it’s OK for you to be stupid. It’s not. From there, and I wasn’t talking about Nicki when I said ‘b*tch’ but I have to say that to the people because they think I’m mad.”

Last year, Meek lashed out at Joey for speaking on his relationship with Nicki.

“Joe Buddens is corny as sh*t and always been corny as sh*t and always commenting on sh*t and ain’t ever did sh*t. I don’t be knowing how, see, I be looking at this, I be looking at all the dudes talking – what the h*ll did you do? You’re a rapper, you can’t talk. You’re just crying, talking about you’re going to crack some crazy sh*t. You can’t comment. I seen [DJ] Envy hugged up with his girl all weekend, you don’t think I want to comment, ‘Why you up on her?’ Nah, that look good. … What you want me to be around? Last summer, Budden came forward to clarify his comments and denied trying to spark a feud.

“I didn’t know I was ‘attacking’ anybody. First of all, if there is anyone who is for love and the community and to your significant other, it would be me. Let me explain something quickly. This is what happens on podcasts. You half-heartedly speak on things that might be a hot topic. Right? I would assume you guys would understand that. So the awards came on and the camera guys just showed a lot of shots of Meek blissfully smiling in love. I thought that was interesting, I thought it was funny, so we joked about it on the podcast – I didn’t think it was possible to take it as a serious sentiment. I was talking about lightskin men versus darkskin men. I didn’t think anybody with half a brain would take those comments seriously.” (Hot 97)
