Details on the cost and estimated production have also been revealed.

The book, which is available for pre-order ahead of its August 10 release, will receive a limited pressing of 300 copies, each being sold for $30 and including an autograph from the emcee. The collection also features an introduction from MC, Senior Writer at The Source Magazine. Budden will celebrate his first book on the night of its release with a performance at the New York City venue S.O.B.’s, featuring an opening set from The Doppelgangaz. (The Boom Box)

Budden confirmed the reports via his Twitter page yesterday (June 28).

“I’m an author now ! RT @gracieprod: JOE BUDDEN RELEASES HIS FIRST BOOK…LIMITED AUTOGRAPHED SUPPLY…ORDER NOW!!! http://bit.ly/9qhfEx,” he wrote Monday. (Joe Budden’s Twitter)

Eminem recently said Slaughterhouse’s Shady Records deal was near completion.

“I’m probably gonna go through this album cycle with everything that I got to do with this and then when I get back home, probably jump back in the studio with [D12] and do some things with Slaughterhouse and just keep making music,” Em said in an interview last week. (“The All Out Show”)
