Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden has an opinion on the state of New York radio. The hip-hop veteran has reacted to fellow Tri-State rapper Desiigner publicly ripping his hometown’s radio stations.
In a broadcast teaser of his “Everyday Struggle” talk show, Joe didn’t hold back on siding with Desiigner’s feelings.
“‘F*ck New York radio.’ This is something we’ll see artists continue to to say. Desiigner had a lot of success with ‘Panda’ on his own – but New York radio is always late to the party in the morning. So my question to Desiigner would be why do you need New York radio? … Hot 97 ignored the Internet that is why Hot 97 means nothing today.”

Last night, Hot 97 radio veteran Funk Flex acknowledged Desiigner and other artists firing shots his way.
Desiigner sparked some social media chatter this past weekend after throwing up a now-deleted anti-New York radio Twitter post.
Last month, the hip-hop artist blessed fans with his “Holy Ghost” single.
