Although New York rapper Jim Jones has settled his past feud with French Montana, it doesn't look like he'll be cooling things down with Max B anytime soon. The hip-hop veteran has revealed having no desire to fix their problems with one another.
Jim Jones Disses Max B
During an interview with radio personality Jenny Boom Boom, Jones didn’t hesitate to air out Max B. He was asked about potentially working together in the future but immediately shut it down with a few lines.
“Nah, f*ck Max B. Max B can suck a d*ck. F*ck outta here… Nah, people don’t play with me with that conversation. Ain’t nobody can tell me nothing about that. That’s the first thing I say, ya heard. That’s how you feel, that ends the deal for anybody. No Max talk in my conversation. Period.”
Jim Jones + Max B’s Feud Explained
Max B began his relationship and high-profile fame after signing to Jones’ Byrd Gang label almost two decades ago. He later, by some reports, helped write “We Fly High (Ballin)”, although Jones has shut this down. MB claims the record deal was terrible and thus, their problems began. He was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to 75 years over a robbery-turned-homicide but had his charges reduced with an appeal in 2017, although he is still in jail until July 1st, 2029.
Jim Jones + French Montana Unite
Rap veterans and now-former foes French Montana and Jim Jones have finally squashed their beef. Having lasted for almost two decades the pair of New York rap artists went on Instagram Live back in April 2020 to talk and reconcile. The pair discussed an MTV award show in which French gave Jones the middle finger after sneaking in.

“I remember you trying to sneak inside MTV Awards, and me and Juelz [Santana] were in a Phantom. I don’t know if you remember that but you threw your middle finger up at me and I said ‘I should get out right know and whoop your f**king a** out you little dumb n***a,’ you was by yourself. Me and Juelz was in a Phantom and we had mad n***as behind and I left that s**t alone, Juelz said ‘leave that n***a alone, why you always bothering him man,’ and I said said ‘alright Juelz, man.’ He was like ‘stop, man.'” – Jim Jones
A Message To The Youth
The pair also encouraged younger rappers not to follow in their ways of feuding. They both encouraged the youth to put love over hate.
