Atlanta-bred rapper JID is still putting in work after dropping The Forever Story and announcing a tour.

The “151 Rum” rapper has released visuals for “Bruddanem” and “Crack Sandwich.”

The Message In Crack Sandwich & Bruddanem

In “Crack Sandwich,” he raps about his upbringing and humble beginnings with his siblings. “Bruddanem,” which features Chicago rapper Lil Durk, tells a story about his friends he used to hang with growing up and how they used to get in trouble.

The Visuals

The six-minute video briefly starts with a group of male friends laughing while drinking and smoking marijuana. The beat later drops and JID’s song “Crack Sandwich” comes on while he is eventually on-screen rapping the lyrics.

As the video unfolds, cops eventually raid the house and arrest them. As the men get settled in prison, they run into suspected racists and gang members who stare them down.

The music video also includes JID speaking on the phone in front of a glass window in prison as he raps to one of the men who were locked up.

In addition, it closes after JID has a flashback of him and his siblings fighting people at a club while a woman tells her side of the story just like on the album.

JID has dropped several videos from The Forever Story that includes “Dance Now,” “Kody Blu 31,” and “Surround Sound.”

JID Hints At A New Album

JID released his album The Forever Story in August and has shared multiple visuals for his tracks.

However, he recently hinted at new music in a tweet, where he says the next album could have 10 or more features and will try to not be so “wholesome’.”
