Music mogul Jay Z‘s Tidal streaming service continues to put pressure on its competition by teaming up with New York radio station Hot 97 for its annual Summer Jam concert.

According to reports, Tidal will stream the must-see concert of the year this weekend.

The stream will be available to Tidal subscribers starting at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 7. Tidal members will be able to view nine hours of live music from the festival, which will include performances from Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown (hahaha), Meek Mill… Uh, did we mention Kendrick already? A 25-hour replay will also be available. (Ad Week)

According to reports this week, the overnight streaming service now comes packed with a slew of new assets.

Users can download a new beta desktop player for Windows and Mac operating systems that makes it easier to find songs and videos. Also new: tour dates and links to buy tickets. And as part of a new partnership with Ticketmaster, Tidal members will get access to exclusive ticket giveaways, presales and discounts. (USA Today)
