Music mogul Jay Z‘s TIDAL is determined not to lose. The hip-hop mogul’s monster streaming service is set to livestream a special performance this week by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and Common.
Barring any changes, TIDAL’s stream will go live tomorrow (March 22) night in partnership with Okayplayer from Washington, DC.
Common and NSO will perform singles of his latest album, Black America Again, as well as some of his biggest hits from the past 25 years and include orchestrated versions of selected tracks. Beginning at 8PM ET, TIDAL members and non-members can tune in to watch TIDAL X: Common & The National Symphony Orchestra Presented by Kennedy Center and Okayplayer on TIDAL.com/Common. Following the live show, the performance will be replayed for 48 hours on TIDAL for all fans.
Fellow hip-hop star Nicki Minaj recently made headlines after revealing her exclusive TIDAL music playlist.
Last month, Jay Z celebrated his Songwriters Hall of Fame class induction with a must-hear TIDAL playlist.
