Just days away from the much-anticipated presidential election, rap mogul Jay-Z is proving he is pro-President Barack Obama by joining the final campaign trail over the next few days.

According to reports, Young Hov will pop up with President Obama in Ohio next week.

Singer Bruce Springsteen will join the president on a three-stop swing through the Midwest on Monday, the Obama campaign announced Thursday. The pair will start the day in Madison, Wis., and then travel to Columbus, Ohio, where hip-hop artist Jay-Z also plans to address supporters. Then Obama will travel to Des Moines, Iowa, where he will be joined by first lady Michelle Obama and where Springsteen is slated to perform a final time. (The Hill)

Jay-Z’s wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has shown support for the president by rocking Obama-style earrings.

If you like it, then you shoulda put earrings on it — at least that’s what Beyonce did with a brand new pair of Barack Obama hoops last weekend … and now, TMZ has learned, sales for the pro-bama jewelry have EXPLODED. The earrings were designed by a Puerto Rican jewelry designer named Erika Peña — and up until last week, she had only sold 5 sets of the handmade earrings. But her fortune changed overnight when Beyonce wore them last Saturday in NYC. Since then, Erika tells TMZ, she’s sold over 1,300 PAIRS! Erika tells us she received orders almost immediately from all over the world — England, Switzerland, Chile, and Argentina … with her biggest order coming from London. The earrings currently sell for $32 a pair — so if our math is correct … that’s like, a ton of money. (TMZ)

The duo also hosted a pro-Obama fundraiser a few weeks back which brought in around $4 million.

“We’re on the brink of an election, but more importantly, we’re on the brink of moving America in a direction where we’re going to be more just, more fair,” President Obama said at the 40/40 Club in Manhattan, where Jay-Z is an owner. “The economy’s going to grow in a way that includes everybody, an America that’s respected around the world because we’re putting forward our best values and out best ideals.” Ms. Knowles, who sang at Mr. Obama’s inauguration in 2009, kept her remarks brief in introducing him. “I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama,” she said. “We believe in his vision.” (New York Times)

Around mid-October, Young Hov appeared in an ad campaign commercial approved by the head of state.

In a new ad released today by President Barack Obama’s campaign, Jay-Z reflects on Obama’s message of hope. The president reinvigorated voting, he says, “and you’re starting to see the power of our vote. When the president got in office initially, what he represented to a nation of kids was hope. You know, the hope of people all across the country who would look and see themselves and know the possibilities. … Now people are exercising their right, and you are starting to see the power of our vote. He made it mean something for the first time for a lot of people.” (Mediaite)
