Music mogul JAY-Z is really out here proving money still ain’t a thing in 2018. The hip-hop icon is making headlines this week for reportedly racking up a $100,000-plus tab on a New York City outing with his longtime pal and business affiliate Juan “OG” Perez.
According to reports, Young Hov linked up with the Roc Nation president to celebrate his born day in fashion last night (February 18) at a handful of Manhattan hot spots.
Jay skipped the All-Star game to take OG Juan and a group of Roc Nation execs to Zuma in Midtown for dinner, picking up the tab of $13,000. Then, the group headed uptown to Made in Mexico in Inwood, spending $9,000 on drinks, including Jay’s D’Ussé cognac, followed by a stop at nearby nightclub Playroom, where — even though they were, by this point, down to a group of six — they ordered and paid full price for 40 bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne, which is owned by Jay. The stunned Playroom server posted Jay’s check on Snapchat, which came to a whopping $91,135, which included an epic $11,000 tip. (Page Six)

Bey and Jay were seen watching the sunset on a luxury yacht amid friends, as well as business partner Emory Jones, as the weekend kicked off. Earlier in the day, Beyonce was also seen at her hotel with security and her assistant enjoying a refreshing drink. A day later, the couple enjoyed a double date night with another couple at Le Sirenuse. Beyonce wore an emerald green dress and showed off her long braids on the way into the building. (Just Jared)

The “Lemonade” singer was spotted at Mandolin restaurant in Miami, FL on Feb. 8, flaunting blonde knee-length braids, a fitted black dress, and blinged out earrings. The dress not only fit her perfectly, but it showed off her amazing curves. Queen Bey looked absolutely stunning, despite the fact that she recently gave birth to twins — Rumi and Sir Carter. Recently, Bey made headlines for becoming the first woman to have at least three albums with more than a billion streams each.
It’s just over a month into 2018, and almost two years since the release of Lemonade, but Beyoncé has already broken yet another music record. The pop icon has just become the first woman to have three albums surpass a billion streams on Spotify, as MTV points out. The album which put Beyoncé over the top was her 2011 power ballad album 4, which just hit one billion streams. The underrated album, which gave us “1+1”, “Run the World (Girls),” and “Love on Top,” trails behind 2008’s * I Am… Sasha Fierce* and her opus, 2013’s eponymous visual album. Just the latter two of those 4 songs have garnered 400 million streams combined. (W Magazine)
