Details of the new deal hit the Internet Monday (January 17) evening.

The deal is a joint venture contract between Koke’s Suspect Entertainment label and Roc Nation/RCA and should definitely put the London native in front of many new potential fans in the upcoming months. Koke is from Stonesbridge, London and formed his company, Suspect Entertainment, with a pair of CEOs–Squingy and Krish–in 2005. Other artists involved include Froggy, Lefty, Grams, R9, Skeng, Capo, Bug, Gyro, Leokins, Lil Shan and others with equally puzzling names. (The Boom Box)

In late December, Jay armed his Roc Nation roster with British singer Cher Lloyd.

Jay-Z is still building his artist arsenal and recently added 2010 “X-Factor” finalist Cher Lloyd to the roster. However, it wasn’t easy for the helm of Roc Nation to bag the sassy rapper-slash-singer. The UK teen was in the midst of a friendly bidding war between Jay and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am before she officially inked her deal. (VIBE)

Before Lloyd, the most recent addition to the Roc Nation family was rapper Jay Electronica, as a lavish extravaganza was held to celebrate his new home in November.

Another “Jay” has been added to the Roc Nation roster. It was announced yesterday (Nov. 12) that New Orleans rapper Jay Electronica signed with Jay-Z’s personal imprint, joining acts J. Cole and Willow Smith at the recently formed label. And to celebrate, Jay-Z threw a lavish party at New York club The Box that neither Jay E, nor anyone else in attendance, would soon forget. The event — which kicked off at about 10:15 pm and drew head-turning guests like Beyonce and Omarion — was a three-ring circus that included sexy burlesque dancers, an aerial gymnast, a Russian hula-hoop master and a girl whose “talent” was having men shoot arrows at balloons that were strategically positioned over her privates. Last October, Rihanna announced joining forces with Jay’s Roc Nation.

The singer announced Wednesday (October 20) that she will now be managed by mentor and former Def Jam exec Jay-Z’s Roc Nation company. The chart-ruling singer spilled the beans to The Associated Press, saying in a statement she’s “so excited to take this next step in my career.” The “Only Girl in the World” singer joins songstress Melanie Fiona, spitter Wale and DJ/producer Mark Ronson as other faces handled by the management arm of Hov’s multi-pronged firm.
