Music mogul Jay Z has embraced social media platform Instagram this weekend to pay homage to the memory of late singer Michael Jackson.
Young Hov created an account, @HovSince96, and posted up a birthday shout-out to MJ Saturday (August 29).
Pictures of Jay Z and his family vacationing bubbled online earlier this month.
Aside from this, Jay’s Tidal streaming company recently announced music icon Prince‘s upcoming Hit & Run Album LP would exclusively premiere through its service.
Music streaming expert and MusicWatch managing partner Russ Crupnick recently said Jay’s publicized Tidal executive exits showed its hardships.
“It was a wasted opportunity,” Crupnick, told TheWrap. “I think they had a window in which people were listening but unfortunately that opportunity was squandered.” … “It’s kind of like the New Coke of streaming services,” said Crupnick, referring to Coca-Cola’s disastrous 1985 attempt at replacing its original formula with a new sweeter version. “That’s how badly it’s been marketed.” (TheWrap)
