Music mogul Jay Z might be gearing up to drop his own Lemonade-like surprise album any given day. This week, Young Hov linked up with Southern hitmaker Zaytoven.

Zay went to Instagram Friday (November 11) with a shot of himself and Jigga in a recording studio.

Roc Nation Senior Vice President Lenny S. recently acknowledged fans’ interest in getting new Jigga audio gems.

“Be excited about more Khaled stuff coming. He’s about to release a book and is focused on film and television next year. Be excited about, sh*t, maybe Jay will get the bug to do music again. Who knows? Obviously, nothing confirmed, but some of the verses he’s put out — he did the Pusha T thing [‘Drug Dealers Anonymous’], he did the Fat Joe thing [‘All the Way Up’], he did the Khaled thing [‘I Got the Keys] — it’s exciting.” (Rap-Up)

Back in August, Roc Nation’s Vic Mensa talked about hearing new Jay music.

“They’re just smart people, really good people. That’s something I find as I meet more people in this industry: some of the top dogs are the kindest and in a sense most humble. A lot of people feel themselves when they don’t really have a right to. Hov and Beyoncé are people that I’ve seen, on mad occasions, just be real cool to people that they don’t know. Beyoncé has that queen personality where she makes people feel comfortable. Well, I mean, she probably makes people feel mad uncomfortable because they’re super fans, but she’s super cool to people that I’ve seen her interact with and she always has been really nice to me. As far as music, all I can say is that Beyoncé’s tour and her album are amazing. I’ve heard a little bit of some Hov sh*t and it’s fresh as f*ck, but I can’t say anything about anything else.” (Rap-Up)

Recently, music mogul Jermaine Dupri announced Jigga has a follow-up to 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail album coming.

“Me and Jay have, like, conversations that I’m sure I’m probably sure he don’t have with nobody else because that’s how we met each other,” JD said. “Our relationship from ‘Money Ain’t A Thing’ came from him taking something on a mixtape that I heard that he did repeating, ‘I’m gonna make you dance,’ something he said that sounded like what I did on the Dru Hill [song ‘In My Bed’] like, ‘Oh, dude be listening to me.’ I’m thinking this is, ‘Can’t Knock The Hustle’ dude – I’ve spoken to Hov, even at the Beyoncé concert. I know the name of Hov’s new album and everything right now. [laughs] Yeah, like, me and him, we’re good. [Will I get a beat on there?] It might be done. I’m just saying. I don’t know.” (Rap Radar)
