According to reports, Jigga linked with Zuckerberg Friday (July 26) night.

Jay-Z is more than making a few rounds out in the streets in between shows, and it seems like surprising his wife Bey wasn’t enough. Before hitting the San Francisco leg of the Legends Of The Summer Tour with Justin Timberlake tonight, Hov made a quick stop at the Facebook offices to visit Mark Zuckerberg and the team. Miss Info: What do you think is happening in this photo? Is Mark doing handjive? Are Mark and Hov filming the greenscreen scenes of new Facebook sci fi spoof? Will that sci fi spoof be called Face Balls? (Will anyone besides maybe Eric and Jeff Rosenthal get that joke?) Is Mark wearing Roshe Runs or just really old leaning Cortez? Is that a really large mud mat? Where does all the Facebook IPO money go? Legend: What if Jay-Z’s next album drops on Facebook? (Miss Info TV)

While fans still soak in his Facebook appearance, they can look forward to Jay’s “Picasso Baby” music video premiering on HBO next week.

The performance was filmed, and HBO just announced that it will be airing the resulting work, Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film. The special will debut on Friday, August 2nd at 11 p.m. Eastern time, immediately after the rapper’s appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher. In the trailer for the film, Jay Z can be seen interacting with Alan Cumming, Judd Apatow, and the artist Marina Abramovic, who were all spotted at the gallery during the performance. “Rap is thinking out loud, and you’re putting your fears and your vulnerabilities and your insecurities to music,” Jay Z says in the trailer. “Concerts are pretty much performance art, and a smaller venue is a bit more intimate, so you feel the energy of the people.” (Rolling Stone)

Back in summer 2010, Jigga’s pal Kanye West freestyled some records at Facebook’s California headquarters surfaced.

Remember when Kanye first debuted he repeatedly said how much he wants to get respected as a rapper? Well, by now anybody with ears for rapping can attest to Mr. West’s lyricism. Thanks to continuous reports and co-signs from hip-hop heavyweights who heard tracks off Good A** Job, the anticipation for the album continues to rise. Adding fuel to the fire, this clip of Yeezy humbly spitting several verses off his upcoming LP at Facebook HQ just adds a smile to our faces. “I am the day Ice Cube meets Mike Jackson. Keep them away, huh? Something might happen.” Yea, son hear it for yourself. (Complex)

Last weekend, Jay kept busy by attending a “Justice For Trayvon Martin” New York City rally.

Platinum-selling power couple Jay Z and Beyoncé joined the crowd demanding “Justice for Trayvon Martin” at a Saturday rally where the pair greeted the slain teen’s mother. The celebrity backing on a blistering Manhattan day came after Sybrina Fulton proclaimed her son’s innocence and urged a federal civil rights prosecution of George Zimmerman. Fulton, choked up by the racially diverse crowd’s cheers and support, had trouble speaking before declaring that 17-year-old Trayvon did not deserve to die. “He was a child,” she said outside 1 Police Plaza. “Don’t take my word for it. He had a drink and candy.” (New York Daily News)
