SOHH.com has learned private jet company JetSmarter has raised $105 Million in its Series C equity financing round at a $1.5 Billion valuation. Among the major investors in the Series C round is Entertainer Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, who invested in previous rounds.

The company is a favorite in the world of hip-hop with celebrity members including Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Soulja Boy, Chanel Iman, Daymond John – and the latest member flying this month was UFC champion Conor McGregor. The company offers membership at $15,000 annually for free seats on private planes to and from markets including Atlanta, San Francisco, Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago and more.

Gennady Barsky, President of JetSmarter said, “We continue to offer seats on private planes – and so many from all walks of life join us and its one of the reasons we are the fastest growing country club in the sky.” Other fliers include Jeremy Piven and Fergie, and recent SEC filings indicate among the shareholders is Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Saudi Royal family, former homeland security director Tom Ridge and entrepreneur Ronn Torossian of 5WPR.
