Rap mogul Jay Z is not hiding out in light of footage showing him being attacked by sister-in-law Solange and, instead, decided to hit up the Brooklyn Nets playoffs game Monday (May 12) night. #SolangeWho
A photo of Young Hov alongside his wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter talking to Miami Heat star LeBron James has surfaced online.
“LeBron James chats it up with Jay Z and Beyoné sitting courtside pic.twitter.com/WPGlTp6v4I,” a post reads May 12. (Bleacher Report’s Twitter)
The hotel where the fight took place has issued a statement on the incident.
A publicist for the Standard Hotel has provided the following statement exclusively to theGrio: “We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity.” (theGrio)
Initial reports revealed the attack took place last week in the Big Apple.
According to our sources, it all went down at a Met Gala after party last week at the Standard Hotel in NYC. In the video … Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange step into the elevator … and then Solange goes crazy, screaming at Jay before unleashing a violent attack. A large man — who appears to be a bodyguard — attempts to hold Solange back, but she manages to connect at least 3 times. At one point Solange throws a kick and Jay grabs her foot, but never attempts to strike her. Beyonce stands by without getting physically involved. (TMZ)
Coincidentally, Jay and Bey were spotted days later at a Brooklyn Nets playoff game.
If these photos are any indication, Beyonce and Jay Z are still O.K. after his blowout battle with Solange Knowles … or at least pretending to be. The two were seen courtside at Saturday night’s game between the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets in NYC, where they shared some PDA in the front row. At one point, Bey was seen smiling as her husband rubbed her leg. They were later seen chatting it up with Jake Gyllenhaal, who sat next to them. (Too Fab)
