Married music duo Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter were spotted together as a happy family with daughter Blue Ivy Carter in New York City.
Cameras caught the trio dining out at the Big Apple’s famous Mamo Italian food restaurant a couple nights ago.
“Blue was adorable. She kissed Jay during dinner on his head and cheeks and then was playing music by tapping her hands on the table, which caused Jay and Beyoncé to smile and laugh,” the insider says. “There were a lot of smiles and happiness that came from the table throughout their meal. Beyoncé and Jay seemed like a really happy couple.” (E! News)
Heading into the weekend, details of a possible Jay and Bey joint album still coming together surfaced.
Long before there was Lemonade, Beyonce and Jay Z attempted to put out a joint album, sources tell Billboard, and the power couple still may see the project through in the near future. According to a source, Jay Z and Beyonce had “nearly finished” a record together but never quite did. “The label wouldn’t agree to the joint album,” says an insider of Beyonce’s longtime home at Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music. But a Sony source counters that claim, insisting that the company is “open to” partnering with the husband-and-wife team for such a project. (Billboard)
Buzz about a possible Jay Z solo album coming together developed earlier in the week.
Sean Carter, aka Jay-Z, is allegedly already at work on a new album, which explores his side of the marital schism Beyoncé’s Lemonade covered. This news, of course, is according to US Weekly, so until we hear it from Mr. Carter’s lips, we should probably take it with a pinch of lemon juice. Singer Zendaya recently revealed Jay came to visit Bey on the set of her new Lemonade visual album.
“Yeah, I did,” Zendaya said when asked if she saw Jay Z on-set. “I wasn’t there for [the ‘Becky’ stuff]. I was only there for one day. [Was he helping her with the video?] Absolutely. They’re beautiful together. They seemed happy. … He visited the day I was on. I’m sure he came to visit his wife. He seemed cool.” (TMZ)
