Music super couple Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter reportedly spent their Memorial Day Weekend in the Hamptons, opting out of watching their close friend Kanye West get married overseas.

According to reports, Jay and Bey kicked back at the popular hangout spot while the press covered Kanye’s publicized wedding ceremony with reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

He was expected to be best man, so some people were shocked when Jay Z and Beyoncé skipped Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding. Instead of heading to Florence, Italy for the nuptials, the couple enjoyed a quiet weekend together in The Hamptons. Queen Bey jumped onto her Instagram page Saturday (May 24) to congratulate the newlyweds.

Hip hop couple Beyonce and Jay-Z opted to skip Kanye West’s wedding and head to the Hamptons for a trip instead. While, West was married to reality television star Kim Kardashian on Saturday, but his best man in real life, was nowhere to be found at the ceremony, US Magazine reported.
