Music mogul couple Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter‘s long-awaited and rumored joint album is reportedly still in production.
According to new reports, Queen Bey may have a new album coming out soon along with a joint effort alongside Young Hov.
Beyoncé is close to making a new worldwide, multi-album deal with Sony Music, and the final release under the current deal is now set for April. But there are rumors of another Beyoncé album in 2016, this one a joint project with husband Jay Z. (HITS Daily Double)
Recent reports claimed Bey and R&B veteran Mariah Carey could have some new music in the works.
The two divas were at a benefit in L.A. for the HeartView Global Foundation, and had tables beside each other. We’re told when Bey and Mariah got a chance to talk, the possibility of a duet was brought up and the two agreed, it needs to happen. At one point, they got in a bidding war over a portrait of Ray Charles and after throwing down thousands, the artist agreed to give them both a copy. (TMZ)
Approached by media during Super Bowl 50 festivities a few weeks ago, Queen Bey briefly touched on her overnight “Formation” smash.
“It makes me proud,” Beyonce told ET’s Kevin Frazier, who caught up with the singer at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, after the halftime show ended. For Beyonce, “Formation” is more than just another song — she wants it to have a positive impact on her fans’ lives. “I wanted people to feel proud,” Beyonce said of the new single, “and have love for themselves.” (ET)
Queen Bey lit up Super Bowl 50 this month by sharing the stage with music stars Bruno Mars and Coldplay.
The 34-year-old singer performed on the field right after Bruno Mars sang his hit song “Uptown Funk.” After she performed a bit of the song, Bey got on stage with Bruno and battled it out with their hot songs. Such an epic moment! Bey and Bruno joined Coldplay on stage for the finale to perform the bands’ song “Up and Up.” (Just Jared)
