Although Jay has not given a definite release date, he claims southern rap veteran Bun B has heard the entire LP.

“Sometimes im Jay Electronica. sometimes im Jay Electron*gga. i wanna let yall hear this one record from Act II: Patents Of Nobility (the turn) called “Road To Perdition” feat. Mr. Carter so bad.,” he tweeted this week.

“Album soon come. Ask Bun B, he heard the album in its entirety. a thouand kisses to all of those who have supported me since Act I: Eternal Sunshine (the pledge). I am grateful for your patience. I will not let any of you down. I promise. I will not let any of you down. I promise.”

Last November, Jay-Z discussed his decision to sign Electronica to Roc Nation.

“It’s obvious that he really genuinely loves it and is a student of rap and the game,” Jay-Z admitted in an interview. “You can’t write those sort of songs or come to that sort of conclusion without having a deep love for what you’re doing and a deep understanding and a deep drive.” (MTV)

The fall 2010 deal sparked a positive fuse in Roc Nation’s J. Cole who shared his reaction to gaining a new labelmate.

“Jay Electronica is such a monster. He’s one of the few dudes that I hear rap in the game that makes me want to step my bars up.” Coles adds. The two MCs appeared together on the lyrical “Just Begun,” off Reflection Eternal‘s Revolutions Per Minute LP. “There is no back seat. Everybody has their own lane. He has the freedom to do what he does. We’re not on each other’s toes. If anything we only help each other.” (VIBE)

Cole’s own Roc Nation debut is slated to hit retail outlets in late September.

After keeping fans waiting, J. Cole has finally revealed the title and release date for his debut album. Cole World: The Sideline Story will be released on September 27 via Roc Nation/Sony Music. The North Carolina rapper made the announcement on Twitter. Rap-Up.com has confirmed the title and release date with his label rep. (Rap-Up)
