New York rapper Jadakiss' upcoming The Champ Is Here Part 3 mixape will feature some surprise guest appearances according to the project's host, DJ Green Lantern.
Green said the underground release would also offer up some exclusive content.
“Honestly, everything you could think of in the sense of creatively coming together, mapping out beat selection,” Green Lantern said of expectations for the mixtape. “There’s original production on it. There’s what you would call freestyles, getting on other people’s beats. There’s some nice guest appearances on this one. It’s time to spice things up. Part 3. We didn’t really touch the guest appearances too much in the past outside of the Lox … I think that would be a welcomed gear shift to explore how that would sound. He’s ready to go.” (MTV)
According to Kiss, the underground release was inspired by his fans.
“Yeah Champ Is Here Part 3, coming May 1st,” Jada promised. “That’s the day of the Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley fight, I thought that would be an appropriate time to release the part three of The Champ Is Here [series]…I just try to give you, I don’t try to get out of my element. What really made me do the tape, I was in Dallas and a few other places and people were like, ‘Yo Kiss, we need some of that music, we need some of that other type of music,’ so I feel it’s only right that I step in and fill that void. I don’t try and go out of my limit or over exert myself with what I do. Try to keep it real, rugged, something for the ladies, something for the young people, something for the thugs — hopefully it comes out great.” (The Source)
Earlier this month, Kiss wrote via Twitter and announced the mixtape would be dropping.

Jada’s Champ Is Here Part 2 dropped online around February 2009.
Sorry for the thousand posts today, I promise this will be the last. Being served up as a prelude to The Last Kiss, this mixtape is actually a sequel to the tape Jadakiss and Green Lantern put out in 2005, The Champ Is Here.
