Jack Harlow has announced his return with a new single and video featuring Yung Miami. Harlow completely spazzes when Kanye West sees it and drops a compliment that changes his life: "Top 5."
After holding out for a year, Harlow is back with “Nail Tech” and a bossy video to match. The video, directed by Frank Borin and Jack himself, shows Jack in different scenes walking in a boardroom, on a mini football field surrounded by girls, in a boxing ring and in a nail salon. It features cameos from an always sexy, nails done Yung Miami from the City Girls and Louisville rapper C-Tez, whose vocals are featured on the song.
But the video release is only part of the story. When Kanye West saw the video today, he gave Harlow the biggest compliment of his life, calling the rap newbie, “Top 5.”
Harlow was overjoyed. “This right here…is one of the greatest moments of my entire life…glad y’all all get front row seats to it…suddenly all the hate means nothing…imagine your hero saying this about you…I could cry.”
Besides being in Kanye’s momentary Top 5, Jack Harlow’s been getting into his social justice bag, recently making news for calling for a police officer’s firing after graphic footage showed the officer grabbing a young woman by the neck after one of his shows.
In a statement shared via Instagram with a brief clip of the incident in question, Harlow explained that the footage had been brought to his attention by a fan and that he chose to use his platform to bring it to light.
