After suggesting Rice receive an NFL lifetime ban, Rule came forward to address his Twitter post’s widespread media coverage.

This is the comment that sparked Ja Rule’s backlash…

Details of the Baltimore Ravens’ decision to release Rice surfaced Monday (September 8) afternoon.

Ray Rice won’t get another chance with the Baltimore Ravens after all. He might not get a chance anywhere else in the NFL either. The Ravens announced they’ve terminated Rice’s contract Monday afternoon, hours after TMZ.com posted video of the embattled running back punching his then-fiancée during an altercation at an Atlantic City hotel in February. (USA Today)

The National Football League suspended Rice indefinitely Monday.

The NFL followed up by suspending Rice indefinitely, which would prevent another team from picking him up. Earlier in the day, the NFL said it had never seen the violent video before it suspended him for two games earlier this summer for domestic abuse. “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator,” the NFL said in a statement today. “The video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.” (ABC News)

Marlon Wayans, Lil Duval, Hot 97’s Ebro and more have reacted to the Ray Rice drama.

    • You must have seen the headline and jumped at the opportunity to diss Ja Rule without reading the story (including the 5 muthafuckas stupid enough to like your comment) because NOTHING he said would upset his female fanbase.

  1. Ja Rule says Rice should br banned from the NFL for life but 50 Cent banned you from hip hop years ago so it makes since why he said that

    • There your GUNIT Stan ass goes. Nigga, Ja Rules shit was playing out anyway. Quit giving 50 all that credit for some shit that was fading out to begin with. You muthafuckaz kill me with that end career shit. If a career ends it’s cause muthafuckas moved on and just aint into that no more. You think girls {who mostly buy the records} gave a shit about them 2 lil niggaz beefs? Please.

      • First off I am not a G-Unit Stan and it was a joke but if you truly believe 50 did not make fans stop listening to Ja Rule you are sadly mistaken. Without 50 Ja Rule could have still had another 3 year run before completely fading away!

      • No 50 definitely ended his career much the same way T.I. did Flip. 50’s problem was that he thought people were going to keep buying his music no matter how good or bad it was because he was shot 9 times and was a street nigga. He ended his own career when he dropped C.U.R.T.I.S. When you beef with niggas like he does there is no room for you to let your guard down and come out with some trash like that album. It was open season on his ass after that

  2. Bet she wish she never said whatever she said to him to make him snap. Got knocked out and now got no $. He prolly telling her right now “See woman, this what the F**k I’m talking bout. You see what you made me do”

  3. Ja Rule is saying guys with daughters can relate but I can guarantee if saying bitch and ho in a song 50 times would make him go platinum again, he’d do it. I would bet serious dough that Ja has probably hit a female before or act in an aggressive manner towards one.

  4. That bitch just stayed with him for a check NOW LETS SEE WHO SHE ENDS UP WITH NOW FOR MONEY. just watch
