Hollywood actress Jennifer “J. Lo” Lopez has Alex Rodriguez by the jockstrap. The curvy entertainer spent Sunday night with A-Rod while his former New York Yankees teammate Derek Jeter had his jersey retired.
Despite Jeter’s star-studded Yankee Stadium gather, A-Rod opted to spend the night with Lopez.
Yankee greats gathered at the Stadium where Jeter’s number 2 was retired. Alex was invited, but his publicist had said he wouldn’t be able to make it because he was going to be in Miami celebrating Mother’s Day. A-Rod was indeed in Miami on Sunday. His rep says he spent the morning with family, including Mom. We’re told he arrived in NYC after 6 PM — he has to work there Monday — and went straight to Jennifer’s for the dinner. (TMZ)
However, A-Rod did make sure to acknowledge Jeter’s special ceremony on Instagram.
Earlier this month, footage surfaced of Lopez dancing alongside Alex to Migos’ music.

I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him and he passed by. What was I eating? I was having cobb salad and some soup – tortilla soup – I saw him walk by and then afterwards I went outside but for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder to say hi and I said, ‘Hi Alex,’ and he was like, ‘Hi.
