Dreamville’s J. Cole is showing some serious support for outspoken NFL star Colin Kaepernick amid his publicized national anthem stance.
A picture has surfaced of Cole donning Kaepernick’s San Francisco 49ers jersey.
Coincidentally, Kaepernick’s jersey sales have skyrocketed since his national anthem controversy went viral.
According to the 49ers website, the Kaepernick jersey’s sales were ranking in at No. 20 before his protest began. After the firestorm has made Kaepernick the NFL’s most talked-about rebel rouser as of late, his jersey sales have skyrocketed to No. 1 on the franchise’s website among the team’s legends including Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott jerseys. It’s leap from Friday when Twitter user Mike Rosenberg pointed out that it was at No. 3. (Complex)

Last week, Colin addressed backlash he received over rocking socks with pig-cops.
I’d buy a 49ers jersey but I hate that team.
I respect his stance as a man but I will be damned if I got his jersey out of those names above from Rice to Lott etc., lol. I will pass on a back up QB’s jersey. I know it’s not about the name but I just could not buy his jersey and waste the dough.
