Izzy Strange continues to impress the masses with yet another explosive collab effort. For this installment, the Beasley’s Corner Bodega mainstay contracts a rock solid feature from Blu of “Below the Heavens” stardom for “At Home”. Producer and friend Nate Fox handles the production aspect of the single, mixing West Coast sounds on top of East Coast drum programming. The perfect mixture to make a Pennsylvania and California connection. The back and forth delivery theme will remind you of the golden age of Hip Hop.
With the success the past two releases have garnered, it’s a good indication that this single may have the biggest impact yet. Izzy previously stated he would be releasing the follow up to his debut solo album “Dinner With My Enemies” this year entitled “A Good Day 2 B The Bad Guy”. However, with more collabs underway, Strange felt the need to drop a mixtape project containing these tracks along with new material. Therefore, he announced a mixtape effort entitled “Stranger Than Fiction” dropping this fall with a long list of credits like Mick Jenkins, Red Pill, Chuurch, and Tahlyn Hoburn and more. Then, production credits will include Cassanada, Nate Fox, Synthinnati, Netherfriends and Strange himself.
Listen and purchase “At Home” now and keep an eye out for “Stranger Than Fiction” this fall.
