Music mogul Snoop Dogg is having a tough summer a week after running into issues with Swedish law enforcement and now having over $200,000 seized by Italian police.

According to reports, Snoop Dizzle’s cash exceeded the legal amount he could travel with in Italy this weekend.

During a normal check at Lamezia Terme, the rapper was found with $422,820 in U.S. cash, a police source told CNN. The maximum amount of cash that passengers traveling through Italy can carry without declaring it is €10,000 ($11,010.25). The rules were put in place to prevent money laundering. To be exact, Italian Finance Police seized $205,933, the source said. (CNN)

Last weekend, Snoop lashed out at the Swedish police force for racial profiling.

According to reports, Swedish police arrested Snoop on suspicion of using drugs last weekend.

The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper was pulled over by police, who then believed he was “under the influence of narcotics” and took him to the station. The incident – which followed Snoop’s concert in the area on Saturday night – is said to have lasted “several minutes”, with the star asked to take a urine test. (The Mirror)

Police spokesperson Daniel Nilsson issued a statement on the situation.

“Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg (whose car was pulled over) seemed to be under the influence of narcotics. He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test. The incident lasted several minutes. Once the test was carried out he left.” (Statement)
