While Sai feels hip-hop has become over saturated with collaborations, he is still inspired to start his own label.

“I don’t wanna work with anyone else. It’s all about collaborations now, all you hear is ‘Yo, you heard this joint? It’s featuring this person and that person.’ Hip-hop got corny it ain’t about art no more so now I’m gonna make my own label and make some money off these dumb a**es [both laugh]. For real, but it won’t be me. You won’t see me doing it but I’ma be behind it…all that dance sh*t.” (RWD Mag)

Sai also explained why he feels hip-hop is viewed in a negative light these days.

“It’s poison to the kids what rappers are putting out there,” Sai added. “We’re gang bangers and killers. It’s all negative images you putting out so alright none of y’all got nothing good to say? For real though it’s sad that there’s no good images. Everything is making it rain on these h*es and driving expensive cars when that ain’t the real living conditions in the black communities.” (RWD Mag)

Earlier this year, Sai hit up SOHH and opened up about hip-hop losing straying from essence.

“Come on, what are we doing with this sh*t? What are we doing as a people? What the f*ck are we doing? We got the most powerful weapon in the world. I been to Australia and there’s n*ggas with their hats turned back with baggy pants sagging trying to look like us. China. Everywhere I been in the world. This hip-hop sh*t is something that started with us so why are we f*cking using this music to promote liquor companies and clothing lines? What the f*ck is wrong with us? Is it just me? Am I bugging? Sometimes I feel like I’m crazy for not just following suit and being like, “F*ck it”. If that’s all I had to do in music, then I’d be rich as a motherf*cker. I’m just a different kind of person.” (SOHH Guest Star)
