There have been times when I’ve been closer to my other two Echos and the iHome picks up the command before them. It’s really quite amazing. It’s gotten to the point where I mute the two Alexa devices I owned prior and solely rely on the Alexa feature. The Far Field voice capability will surprise you – it can hear commands from more than 30 feet away – at least in my experience.
