It’s New York Knicks all day. Listen, I can’t stand the Nets. At all. I got a real beef with the Nets, I can’t stand them. I really can’t stand the Nets, man.

At the end of the day, I love the idea of the Barclays Center. I love what it did. I know the name of it like the back of my hand. I live a few minutes away from there, I could walk to Barclays in about 15 minutes on a warm day.

I love the idea of the Barclays being there [in Brooklyn] and Jay-Z being a part of it, how it’s changed the area because I know that area like the back of my hand along with what used to be over there. It’s like night and day to me.

But when it comes to sports, I don’t have an ounce of love in my heart for the Brooklyn Nets. I wish they were in the eighth place in the Eastern Conference. I have no love for the Brooklyn Nets at all, they should have kept that in Jersey.

It’s the New York Knicks everyday. Blue and orange everything. If we meet in the playoffs, we’re going to stomp those guys out.

We’re straight [, no trades]. I stay on top of all that stuff. I’m always looking at the injuries and the reports. We straight. I think if anything, if we were able to pick-up a Kenyon Martin or somebody who could help out a little bit with the rebounding, being that Marcus Camby is down and out, Rasheed Wallace is a little down and out.

I don’t want to think about trying to trade somebody because then we might have to take someone off the roster because we’re already at the max. I wouldn’t mind somebody coming around like Kenyon Martin who could help with the rebounding.

I like the Kenyon Martin rumor and if we had to shake a player to get someone of that caliber, that’d be dope. Just a little bit of rebounding.

I think this is the year for us to do it because I there’s a lot of people in the East who have a little bit of a lane now with Derrick Rose being hurt [on the Chicago Bulls] and Rajon Rondo being hurt [on the Boston Celtics], I think the East really opened up a little bit. I think this is the year for us.

I don’t think Dwight Howard is going to stay with the Lakers and, if they can, I think the Nets are going to snatch him up and then it’s going to be a little bit of a problem. Like I said, I’m blue and orange all day, so I don’t care if the Nets had LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, it doesn’t matter, I’m still riding with the Knicks.

I think this is the year for us. If there were ever a window for us to jump on and grab it, I feel this is the year.
