[With his new Illegal Immigrant heating up the Internet this winter, Hustle Gang affiliate Zuse talks to SOHH readers about getting co-signs from T.I. and Waka Flocka Flame.]
People hear music and people get fascinated by the music and then people want to meet you. All of my relationships were formed organically.
Waka Flocka Flame was a big fan of my music and wanted to work with me. This was the same with T.I. and Trae tha Truth. It’s the same for all of them. They are believers of my music.
When T.I. and Waka Flocka first heard my music they were kind of baffled, they weren’t sure. They knew I was from Jamaica but as time progressed and listened to my music, they saw I could really rap and mix the sh*t perfectly.
T.I. is really a big mentor for me. He’s like an uncle and big brother. He makes sure I am good in Atlanta. We speak on a very regular basis. He treats me like a little brother and he wants me to be very careful and he does not force me to do things I don’t want to.
He’s been very supportive of me as a person and I love him so much as an artist and a person.
