According to reports, the rap threesome will unite to perform one of their most memorable hits.

The hip-hop trio will revive their 1996 platinum single, “Not Tonight (Remix),” which appeared on the soundtrack to Nothing to Lose. The ladies’ anthem also featured Angie Martinez and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Missy, Kim, and Da Brat will pay tribute to Kool & the Gang, whose 1979 song “Ladies’ Night” they sampled. The funk icons will be honored with the Legend Award, which recognizes individuals for their outstanding achievements and contribution to soul music. The tribute also includes a performance by R&B crooner Joe. (Rap-Up)

Missy raised eyebrows after showing her slimmed down body at an Alexander Wang H&M Collection launch party earlier this month.

After losing a reported 70 pounds, Elliott proudly flaunted her frame, fittingly sporting a baseball cap which read, “You can’t workout with us.” Despite her baggy sweatshirt, Elliott’s weight loss could not be concealed as her face was noticeably slimmed down and clearly, she’s proud of her frame, placing her hands on her hips and grinning from ear to ear in the skinny shot, which was uploaded to her Twitter page. Missy jumped onto her Twitter page following the performance.

Over the summer, mega producer Timbaland said he was working alongside Elliott for her follow-up to 2005’s The Cookbook.

“It’s coming,” the rapper’s longtime producer and songwriting partner tells Rolling Stone. “It’s on her. She got the first single, it’s just a matter of when she wants to do it. We got the hollow-tip bullet in the gun. We have the game-changer right there,” he says, making the sound of a gun firing. Asked what that bullet sounds like, Timbaland remains vague: “It’s something you ain’t never heard Missy do. It sounds today, but the future.” (Rolling Stone)

The Soul Train Awards 2014 will broadcast November 30 at 8 p.m on BET.
