If you’ve been following the back-and-forth between Cam’ron and Ma$e, you know the latest: Ma$e has denied making a truce, and Cam’ron has yet to really strike back. Since the dust seems to have settled for now, we’d like to challenge these rivals to a new feud: a GIF battle.

Presented by GFYCat: The Cam’ron VS Ma$e Feud, Revisited in GIFs

Meet Ma$e, AKA Murda Ma$e, AKA Mason Durell Betha:

Meet Cam’ron, AKA Killa Cam, AKA Cameron Ezike Giles:

In the beginning, Ma$e and Cam’ron were partners-in-rhyme in Harlem collective Children of the Corn.

Ma$e broke out with quadruple platinum “Harlem World” in 1997.

He introduces Cam to Biggie Smalls, who helps him land his first record deal and certified gold album: “Confessions of Fire.”

In 2000, Ma$e leaves rap to become a pastor.

Meanwhile, Cam’s career skyrockets.

He signs to Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001, releases his most successful album Come Home with Me, and plays a lead character in film Paid in Full.

Cam’s rap group The Diplomats release their debut album “Diplomatic Immunity” in 2003.

In 2004, Ma$e drops “Welcome Back,” his first album in five years.

The rivals reunite on an infamously heated Hot 97 interview discussing MaSe’s return to rap. Cam calls in and denounces him a fraud. Ma$e tries to brush it off as a misunderstanding.

The two occasionally trade jabs over a mostly quiet decade. This brings us to November 2017. Cam takes a shot at Ma$e in newly released album “The Program” and the feud reignites.

Ma$e essentially responds with “bow down” (pastor pun intended). He kills Cam with the diss track “The Oracle.”

The next day, Cam’ron comes back with his own diss track, “Dinner Time.” However, many think his response was too late: he’s already been put to sleep.

Based on its historical stamina, this feud may last another decade or two. We can’t name the champion yet, but you can call the winner of this GIF battle. Ma$e?

Or Cam’ron?

Who will be crowned the king of GIFs?
