[With the surge of hip-hop artists loving professional wrestling ranging from Wale to Maybach Music Group’s Gunplay, SOHH correspondent Jake Sharpless provides SOHH with a new infograph on tonight’s pay-per-view SummerSlam event and its history. Peep below!]

With Summer Slam coming this Sunday, I’m as hyped as ever.

Although Wrestlemania usually gets all the fancy hoopla, fireworks, acclaim, Flo Rida appearance, etc, real wrestling heads know SummerSlam is where the real action goes down.

It seems every year there’s always tons of Championship Title’s on the line, so I decided to take a deeper look into exactly what the history of title matches looks like, and chose to represent it via the chart at the top.

The amount of different type of matches at PPV’s has always been interesting to me, so I added in not only a win loss record of the people wrestling at this years event, but also a history of how many matches there have been of each type over the years. Along the way I discovered a few different interesting stats. -Jake Sharpless
