The polarizing Tekashi 6ix9ine is back. He went on Instagram Live Friday for the first time since being released from prison and it doesn’t look like the rapper has changed one bit. More of a troll than ever, here’s 10 things we learned from 6ix9ine’s broadcast.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Instagram Live

He defended himself for snitching, saying the people he ratted on weren’t loyal to him in the first place.

“Where was the loyalty when you was sleeping with my baby mother? Where was the loyalty when you was caught on a wiretap trying to kill me? Where was the loyalty when you tried to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you was stealing millions of dollars from me? Where was that?” What did I do wrong? Be loyal to n***as that kidnapped me, beat the s**t out of me on video and everything? I’m supposed to be loyal to that?”

6ix9ine also took a subtle diss at his former manager and associate Shotti.

“When I met son, he was sleeping on a rug.”

People clearly still care about what the hip-hop star has to say, because Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Instagram Live hit 2 million viewers. The previous record was less than 400,000.

He crowned himself the king of New York.

“Why I keep hearing king of New York? Y’all are not the king of New York, look at the numbers. For the king of New York s**t , let’s cut that out. Little boy, sit down. If you don’t got this watch, I’m not beefing with anyone from New York. If you don’t got this watch, you’re a little boy to me. I’ll kiss you on the forehead. King’s home, it’s over. Y’all could never cooperate with the government and come back, y’all could never do that. I’m a living legend at the age of 24 years old. Y’all not the kings of New York – look at the numbers.”

Tekashi shut down the haters and trolled their anger towards him in the same manner as seen in his new “GOOBA” music video.

“You lived your whole life trying to be a real n***a, and try to s**t on a kid like me. For a rat to come home and do more numbers than you, I would be mad too. If a rat came home the way I came home and did more numbers than me, I would be mad. You have every reason to be mad.”

His stream sparked a response from his baby mama Sara Molina, who responded on Instagram. Clearly, things aren’t good between the two.

Molina also clarified she has their kid, and that’s all she needs.

6ix9ine showed some remorse for what he did.

“I want to say that I’m sorry to my fans because you know what? It wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t. … Before I got locked up, ‘f**k that rainbow hair n***a, f**k Tekashi 6ix9ine.’ Y’all didn’t really have a reason to dislike me, just because I screamed in raps and I got rainbow hair. That was y’all reason. Oh, ‘he’s mad, loud.’ But then, now y’all got a reason so of course the go-to is ‘Oh, he snitched. He’s a rat,’ which I understand, and I can’t blame y’all. I’m sorry. I’m sorry to my fans because they don’t deserve – my family, my mother, my family don’t deserve that. And I’m sorry. But y’all not gonna break me down like if I did something wrong.”

His livestream and new music video seemed to be good promotion for each other. The latter received 25 million views in just 13 hours.

His return has sparked reactions and discussion about ratting from figures like Snoop Dogg, Young Thug, and others. They’ve spoked up to condone snitching.
