A$AP Rocky. He’s freaking killing it right now. I love his style and eveything that he’s bringing to the music world. He’s killing it.
Dr. Dre. I’ve always loved Dre’s rapping even though people kind of just know him for being a producer. I love his style as a rapper. I know it’s kind of random, but I have to name him.
Kanye West. You have to put Kanye West in there. Kanye came in with his own production, came with his own flavor. He just took over. He started off as a dude making beats and was like, “Okay, I’m going to take over the world,” and he did that. He didn’t just turn into a rapper, he became a pop superstar which is insane.
OutKast. I don’t know what it is about them, they just came with a crazy style. They did their own production, which is just amazing. I think it’s a trend, there’s people who start off with production and end as being lyricists.
Bun B. I just like his flow. I like the sound of his voice to be honest. Listening to a track with him on it, it just sounds good.
