The Doggfather’s birthday is today, and to celebrate, we’re counting down five of his most iconic moments.

1. Snoop Starting His Own Wine Brand

Similar to moves made by Jay-Z and Diddy, Snoop Dizzle released his line of alcoholic beverages in 2020. In partnership with winemaker 19 Crimes, Snoop announced his own Snoop Cali Red wine, which features 65 percent Petite Syrah, 30 percent Zinfandel, and 5 percent Merlot. The bottles are now available for as little as $12 per bottle.

2. Snoop And Master P’s Joint Ventures

In February, Master P and Snoop entered a 50/50 partnership with Rap Snacks. Their deal entailed creating a new line of potato chips called Snoop Dogg Icon Chips, which come in barbeque, cheddar, and many other flavors.

Snoop is also a brand ambassador for Rap Snacks, meaning he receives 50% of any proceeds from selling his chips.

The rappers-turned-moguls teamed up once again to take over the breakfast game. In August, Master P– whose real name is Percy Miller– broke the news on Instagram, announcing that he and Snoop have started a breakfast cereal brand.

Dubbed Snoop Loops, the box features its character known as Captain Ace, who is described as the “Kobe Bryant of Doggerland.”

The box also states it’s gluten-free, multigrain, and has “more marshmallows.”

3. Snoop And Jamie Foxx Hunting Vampires

In a move typically reserved for Wesley Snipes, Snoop starred alongside Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco in the Netflix original film Day Shift, which follows the cast hunting vampires in the San Fernando Valley

4. Snoop Dogg Boosts Superbowl Ratings

Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and more teamed up to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl. According to a viewership analysis company, Samba TV, 29 million U.S. households watched the halftime show. The numbers were a jump of 19% last year when The Weeknd served as the headliner.

5. Snoop Takes A Trip to Doggyland

Snoop Dogg created a new YouTube animated series that younger children can enjoy called Doggyland.

The show will follow playful dogs who educate toddlers on various things, including spelling and counting. Additionally, a new episode would be uploaded every Tuesday.

The California rapper plays the lead role as a character named Bow Wizzle, who brings wisdom and guidance to the other dogs.
