All Hail Cash King K. Dot, Kendrick Lamar’s Kunta’s Groove Sessions Tix Set Record

[Kendrick Lamar is known for a good amount of things.  You can add “Most Wanted” (in a good way) to that list.  Per ticket website Rukkus, who specialize in tickets on the secondary marketplace (re-sell); prices for tickets to Kendrick Lamar’s Kunta’s Groove Sessions tour have set a record for general admission tickets. Rukkus says “the $563 per ticket that Kendrick’s Webster Hall NYC show are going for is the highest price General Admission ticket we have seen not including festival tickets like Coachella & Lollapalooza.”  They go on to mention that the Groove Session tour is currently averaging a ticket price of $173 per ticket, however that includes non GA events.

Some other interesting numbers below show the average secondary market ticket price for some other big name spitters over the past year. These #’s also including non GA events, so bare in mind $1000 tickets and other people tour’s that someone might be on (ie world tour or your girls tour?) are included in the numbers.
