Gunplay said he felt optimistic about having a 75 percent chance of hitting the road to tour in the near future.

“I’ve been on house arrest for about a month now, I just went to court today. They pushed the trial back to next year, the middle of next year, so I’m still gonna be on house arrest for the meantime, but I’ma try and see if I can get some travel permission by this week, so I should be trying to hit that turf by next week still. It’s like a 75 percent chance right now [I’ll go out and tour], this case really made me sit down and realize the blessings that have been bestowed upon me. I can’t take it for granted. I’m just locked down and focused on my album.” (Global Grind)

Last month, Gunplay talked about being on house arrest and just how much fun he has had indoors.

“Being on house arrest really is a blessing for me,” Gunplay tells us … “This has helped me slow down and not want to do negative things anymore.” He adds, “This is a life-changing eye-opener for me that I need to just slow down and do right.” Gunplay — who’s still facing charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery with a firearm — says he’s passing the time by working on his album, playing video games and bangin’ chicks … which is a HUGE change from how he entertained himself while he was behind bars. “One main difference from house arrest instead of jail is that I can still get sex … which is a wonderful thing. Although in jail I was still f**king Corporal Mary Palmer and her five sisters.” (TMZ)

In October, the MMG member made headlines after getting freed on bond.

Rapper Gunplay was given a $150,000 bond and house arrest on Monday in connection to the robbery of man at Miami tax business, his attorney said. “The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community,” said his attorney Michael Grieco in an email statement. “He should be home with his family shortly. This is first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career.” (NBC Miami)

Around mid-October, footage of Gunplay’s actual crime sprouted online.

Rapper Gunplay PULLED A FIREARM on his accountant during a meeting in April in an explosive fit of rage … and the entire incident was captured by surveillance cameras. Gunplay allegedly stole a cell phone and a gold chain during the incident … and was later charged with armed robbery. He turned himself in to Miami-Dade Police earlier this week. Gunplay — real name Richard Morales Jr. — also faces a second charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. According to the rapper’s attorney, Gunplay could face life in prison if convicted on both counts. (TMZ)
