Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane, Kodak Black and Bruno Mars have dropped the soundtrack to everyone’s Friday. The trio came through on expectations to release their new “Wake Up In The Sky” collaboration.
Early today, Guwop, KD and Bruno’s Billboard Hot 100-headed song premiered online.
Gucci Mane taps Bruno Mars and Kodak Black for a super-collab, “Wake Up In The Sky,” which dropped on digital music services at the stroke of midnight. The track arrives ahead of Gucci’s new album Evil Genius, due out later this year, and is Kodak Black’s first effort since his release from jail last month after a seven-month term on conviction for multiple charges. Recently, reports developed about Kodak having his probation fade to black.
Kodak Black is now officially a free man. According to documents obtained by Complex, a Florida judge has terminated Black’s probation. The rapper, who recently changed his real name to Bill K. Kapri from Dieuson Octave, was released from prison on August 18 after serving seven months of his yearlong sentence. (Complex)
