Heading into the weekend, Gucci revealed a new LP would hit store shelves sometime within the next six months.

After his unforeseen appearance during an Atlanta middle school career day earlier this year, Gucci Mane has once again made our “Caption This” list. But this time, the controversial MC has left the classroom, unveiling the album artwork of his forthcoming fall release, “MR. GUWOP,” on his Twitter account. Judging from the interesting photo we’re not quite sure if Gucci is still feeling “So Icy” with his white fur coat or channeling his inner TLC by “chasing waterfalls.” Regardless, “Mr. Guwop” is destined to have the streets (streams and lakes) buzzing! Coincidentally, the rapper recently said he would change his alias to “Guwop” this summer but fell back in light of fan backlash.

“July 2nd I’m officially changing my rap name to Guwop and retiring the great GucciMane Thanks Fans, for 8 years as Gucci now it’s Wop turn,” Gucci tweeted March 4th.

“I am officially NOT changing my name to Guwop it will officially stay Gucci Mane due to my Fans’ response.. Trap House 3 & Juug House July 2”

Earlier this week, he announced plans to drop a new joint track alongside Marilyn Manson.

“That’s my boy man. We got the dopest record in the world, me and Marilyn. Me and him got one of the craziest records ever made,” Gucci said in an interview. “We made it whatever day Spring Breakers came out in Cali. He came to the sneak premiere, and after we did the red carpet and watched the movie, me and him went to the studio and made us a record. That’s the day that we met and began being friends. He’s cool as hell, I f*ck with him hard. He ain’t the averagest white boy. He got swag. Me and him together, he don’t get on my nerves. I can stomach being around him. He cool.” (The FADER)

He recently stood behind his decision to add Chief to Brick Squad and vowed to fix a publicized dispute with ex-pal Waka Flocka Flame.

“I’m just working on my Brick Squad group album which will drop this summer. It’ll be me, PeeWee Longway, Young Thug, Dolph and of course Chief Keef. I even got songs with Waka on there. I’m just gonna drop a collection of all the best songs we’ve been making. I dropped a mixtape for every artist on my label, so now I feel like it’s just time to put our album together and show everybody the chemistry we got together. [Waka?] There was more of a miscommunication and things got misconstrued. But we got too much of a good thing. Whatever we got to work out, we always work it out.” (XXL Mag)
