With Gucci Mane catching headlines as of late for publicly going at fellow Atlanta rappers like Young Jeezy, T.I. and Yung Joc, SOHH reached out to his "Make A Song" collaborator Ricky Ruckus for his take on the feuds.

In Ricky’s perspective, Gucci is not using other artists to help build a buzz but is simply expressing how he feels.

“[laughs] I’m glad I’m on the other side, right,” Ricky told SOHH when asked for his take on Gucci Mane’s recent name drops. “I don’t look at it as an artist going out and picking beefs with people. Like, you just know certain artists not to mess with. You know how 50 [Cent] reacts to certain situations. Don’t do that. Like, you know how Gucci is going to react. So don’t say nothing that’s going to make him react because he’s going to react and he’s going to go hard. So I don’t look at it like he’s reaching to try and sell mixtapes or try to make a buzz, that’s just — it’s not even with music. It’s certain people you know in your neighborhood, don’t wear your chain around people because it’s gonna get snatched. Just tuck it in, don’t say nothing. You know what I mean?” (SOHH)

Over the weekend, Yung Joc spoke on getting targeted by the fellow Atlanta rapper.

“We ain’t got to throw hints, the homie Gucci, sounded like he dissed me, which he did, but guess what? Listen to the name of the song, ‘F the World,'” Joc said in an interview. “That’s what he on right now. You see he going in at everybody neck but whatever. One thing you got to give Gucci credit for, man, the guy is a master at getting his name in your mouth. … He’s learned how to do it, he’s done it several times — you gotta salute that, whether you like it or not. I ain’t tripping ’cause I know my financial status and situation. So it is what it is but I mean, you gotta love it.” (“The Loud Pack Show”)

“King of the South” T.I. recently refused to get involved in the Gucci/Jeezy feud.

“I got my mind set on a big sack with a lot of money in it,” T.I. said. “Anything not of that understanding and of that nature, I don’t really see it. So I don’t really know what you’re asking me about it. [He’s got a situation with him and Jeezy?] And I think you just ended it right there. You said it all. You know what I’m saying, I don’t know. A lot of times things happen in life and we never know why. The focus is what counts, man. I’m focused on that sack, champ. I’m focused on that sack. I’m trying to get myself right up there where Jay[-Z] and them are at.” (Hot 107.9)

Last week, DJ Drama said Tip could possibly reunite Gucci and Jeezy.

“Maybe they’re not gonna be friends, maybe they’re not gonna go out to dinner, but hopefully, we can probably get some music from it,” Drama said in an interview. “I’m thinking now that it’s a public situation, maybe that somebody can step in. Maybe Tip can do it. Nah, Tip can. Tip is, both of those guys are friends’ of Tip. I’m not gonna say it’s the first thing on his mind, but at the end of the day — if it was something I could do, I would love to do that because I respect both of them. It doesn’t seem like something that we can’t get past.” (This Is 50)
