Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich has come forward to clear up a statement he recently made about country music star Taylor Swift hearing rap heavyweight Kanye West‘s “Famous” song before it went viral.
After initially defending Yeezy, Ehrlich said he misspoke about Swift hearing the tune.
“Regarding my statement at the Grammys about Taylor, I misunderstood what she had told me. Under the pressure of rehearsals, rather than say that she was aware of the song, I said she had heard a track when in fact she had not and and what she said to me didn’t imply that at all.” (Statement)
Ken initially made headlines earlier in the week when he singled out Swift during an interview.

Prior to Ken, Taylor’s camp fired back at claims of Yeezy reaching out for her approval.
“Kim Kardashian West’s husband of course defended the lyrics and said he contacted Taylor. However, Swift’s rep, Tree Paine, told us that Yeezus “did not call for approval” and even said the 26-year-old singer “cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.” (Perez Hilton)
Yeezy ignited a lengthy Twitter tirade and explained the truth behind his perceived Swift beef track last week.
