The Made In America festival is cool but a lot of Philadelphia artists don’t get a chance to come out to it. It’s really taking a lot of artists from other cities and letting them perform.

It’s basically a big a** Summer Jam. It’s not really doing anything for Philadelphia artists. They’re really just coming in and soaking up the revenue. They’re bringing revenue to the city but as far as artists, it’s not really doing anything. They got the same motherf*ckers on that that’s performing at the MTV Awards. So what’s that doing for Philadelphia artists?

They might try to sprinkle one here and one there, but that sh*t ain’t all that.

The Roots give a lot of Philadelphia artists a lot of shine. But the Made In America is really more industry sh*t.
