West Coast rapper Game is keeping Charlie Murphy‘s legacy alive. This holiday weekend, the hip-hop veteran paid tribute to the late comedian.
On Saturday, Game shared a heartfelt moment of himself remembering Charlie’s life on social media.
A few days ago, comedy icon Chris Rock revealed a rare Charlie Murphy audition story.
Charlie lost his life Wednesday (April 12) after a battle with leukemia.
He’d been going undergoing chemotherapy. Family members tell us they’re absolutely shocked because they thought he was getting better. We’re told the family would call him frequently, and he’d even joke they were calling too much. Charlie’s wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, died in 2009 from cervical cancer. They had 2 children, and he had another from a previous relationship. (TMZ)
The shocking death immediately sparked endless reactions from various hip-hop entertainers.
You made us smile. You brought lots of joy to the world and made life easier for millions. Rest in paradise big homie. #charliemurphy pic.twitter.com/HyCxIrnAey
