West Coast rapper Game has updated fans on his status toward one-time rival 50 Cent a decade after being removed from G-Unit.
Despite going at 50 multiple times in the past, Game said they have no issues and he is a fan of the rap star’s hit “Power” show.
“Nah, you know what, I haven’t seen 50 in like 10 years. And I ain’t got no beef with him these days. I watch ‘Power’ sometimes. I think it’s a cool series. I’m into ‘Power’ and my Netflix and ‘Narcos’ and all of that. And ‘Empire,’ I watch ‘Scandal,’ but yeah, I ain’t got no beef with him. He’s gonna do his thing and obviously I’m doing my thing.” (SKEE TV)
A screenshot of Game allegedly responding to a G-Unit reunion question on Instagram surfaced earlier this year.
Instead of holding any grudges, Game admitted he could only applaud Fif’s G-Unit reunion in summer 2014.
“I saw the picture and really instantly thought that that was cool of him with all the money he got because he don’t need music no more to give [Lloyd] Banks, [Tony] Yayo and definitely [Young] Buck ’cause that’s my partner, the chance to go back out there and do shows, make money. G-Unit, the name, will pack a building. They get to split that up and that was my first and only thought on it.” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)
He also briefly reflected on being a part of the Unit a decade ago.
“At this point in my career, I think when G-Unit was at its strongest point I was a member of it and we did what we did and I think that we moved on from that,” Game added. “They’re doing their thing and I’m good.” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)
