West Coast rapper Game has come forward with his reaction to reports claiming social media application Instagram will ban his account over NSFW underwear selfies.
Game acknowledged the situation with an Instagram post last night (November 24).
Reports of Game’s pics raising red flags surfaced online this week.
The pics — which showcase Game in his underwear — were posted three weeks ago and remained up ever since — despite Insta’s tough policies on nudity and such. But the pics have been flagged so much Instagram finally took notice. The pics remain up as of this posting, but we’re told Instagram is in the process of telling Game about the takedown. (TMZ)
The West Coast native boasted about the impact his recent Ethika underwear selfie had on the company’s sales earlier this month.
According to reports, overall Ethika purchases had gone up thanks to Game recently sporting the brand’s underwear in a NSFW Instagram picture.
Amazingly, Game’s package wasn’t the only thing people noticed in his IG posts seen ’round the world — because a spokesperson for Ethika tells us sales have erupted more than 500% for the 2 styles the rapper sported.
We’re told Game doesn’t have a deal with the skivvies co., but they did send him some swag in August. (TMZ)
