West Coast rapper Game has a beef with local law enforcement and a popular night club after claiming both forces have ill feelings toward minorities.
According to Game, Los Angeles hot spot Lure and cops intentionally have problems with African Americans.
Game has beef with Lure nightclub in Hollywood — the site of an extremely popular weekly event called Toxic … a party which Game often hosted. But Game says he’s persona non grata, after secret meetings between Lure honchos and cops. Game lays it out … he says they’re trying to block minorities, rappers and athletes from clubs. He says it’s pure and simple racism. (TMZ)
Since he made those remarks, both parties have denied the serious accusations.
But LAPD sources tell us … they have never met with Lure management to discuss keeping groups of people out of the club. And Lure echoes that. As for who you believe, you should factor this in … Game and T.I. were in a tense standoff with LAPD cops earlier this month outside Supperclub — owned by the same people who own Lure — after a guy in their posse got beaten to a pulp by club security. The Los Angeles Lakers diehard recently unleashed an emotional rant against ousted NBA owner Donald Sterling.
“I have to say that after listening to the full audio clip of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racists comments towards (minorities) specifically African Americans & Hispanics, I am totally outraged & very upset !!! He also went on to say that because Magic Johnson was black he did not want Magic to attend any of the Los Angeles Clippers games. Myself being African American & having a huge Hispanic following… I find myself in a position to defend both my heritage & that of all of the Hispanic community, not only here but around the world….” (Game’s Instagram)
To take matters a step further, Game announced how he would join the protest against Sterling.
“I have now started the #ESC which is short for #EMPTYSEATCAMPAIN asking ALL Los Angeles residents to boycott the next Clippers game by not attending which will prove that we are more of a MAJORITY than the previously stated “minority” label given to us by Mr. Sterling.
