West Coast rapper Game and pop singer Ed Sheeran are reportedly pulling a fast one over the entire industry with plans to drop an untitled collaborative effort in the near future.
According to Sheeran, they have handfuls of new tracks ready to be unveiled.
“I’ve just done around 15 songs with Game for a project, and there’s a few interesting people featured on that,” revealed Sheeran, before detailing his love for the California native’s sound. “I personally think Game is one of the best rappers in the game, for his emotion. He’s one of these rappers out there that he can make club tunes as well, but when he does his emotive side is when you really connect.” (REVOLT TV)
Ed also dished on why he had so much interest in working alongside the former G-Unit member.
“I wanted to do a record with [Game] because I thought it would be fun to put him on acoustic music,” added Sheeran, “because acoustic music is all heart, so when you take a rapper who’s all heart and put him on all-heart acoustic music, it’s gonna work.” (REVOLT TV)
The rap star also announced plans to put out a compilation album for his Blood Money record label this week.
“#BloodMoon compilation coming soon…. #BloodMoney #LaFamilia,” Game wrote via Instagram April 15. (Game’s Instagram)
Last week, the rapper penned an open letter in light of his publicized domestic dispute case with ex-fiancée Tiffney Cambridge.
“Doing the best I can not to break.. But it’s funny how someone you’ve done so much for can be so ugly & cruel as to keep my children away from me vindictively because I’ve decided to move on with my life. I love all 3 of my kids more than life itself & it’s one thing to keep me away from them.. & them away from me but @harlemcarontaylor hasn’t seen his younger brother or sister in a month & just texted me “Dad, how come Justice can’t come to my house” & I have to lie to him because he’s to young to understand the real reason why. I know they ask about me, I know they love me & I know they miss me as much as I miss them but were not allowed to see each other & for what ???” (Game’s Instagram)
