West Coast rapper Game has announced plans to put out a new music project called 1992 this week on social media.
The West Coast native broke the news to fans about a mysterious release on Instagram Monday (December 14).
Earlier this fall, Game’s The Documentary 2 album fell 2,000 pure album copies shy of tying chart-topper Selena Gomez‘s Revival album on the sales chart.
Behind Gomez on the Billboard 200 is rapper The Game with the debut of The Documentary 2 at No. 2 (95,000 units; 83,000 in album sales). It’s the seventh top 10 effort for The Game, following Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf (No. 7 in 2014), Jesus Piece (No. 6; 2012), The R.E.D. Album (No. 1; 2011), LAX (No. 2; 2008), Doctor’s Advocate (No. 1; 2006) and The Documentary (No. 1; 2005). (Billboard)
